This is the concept a new project office building in Amsterdam called matchboxes. This building design by Allard Architecture. The office building is fittingly dubbed the Matchbox building, given the segmented quality of the stacked and angled boxes that lend themselves to a facade characterized by large picture windows and units that cantilever out over the sidewalk. This is interior design of New Office of Twitter created by Sara Morishige Williams. This design means “bring the outdoors in, while making the space playful yet useful and sustainable”. The entire office is equipped with wifi connectivity, and has several fun features such as a dj booth, arcade, custom concrete conference tables, and of course plenty of playful bird depictions.
BIG in collaboration with ARUP and Transsolar, the design of Shenzhen International Energy Mansion was selected from an international competition. The project located in he center of Shenzhen, China creating a new landmark for the surrounding environment. Covering 96,000 sqm, the building stands 200 meters high enclosed in a skin specifically modified and optimized for the tropical climate.
